Neighbor --

I wanted to let you know your District of Columbia ballot should arrive any day now, if it hasn't already. I got mine just yesterday, about a week sooner than expected.

This means voting has officially begun.

You have choices in how to vote. You can mail in your ballot or drop it at a secure location. You can vote early starting October 27. Or, you can vote on Election Day, November 3.

Nearby drop-off centers will open October 5 at Joseph H. Cole Recreation Center, Rosedale Library and Union Market.

You can learn more about your options on my website.

Whatever you choose and whichever candidates you support, I hope you exercise your right to vote.
